      Biography

      Johann Pachelbel (1653-1706) was a German composer, organist and teacher, regarded as a key figure in shaping the sound of the middle Baroque period. He's also known for his great contribution to the success of South Germany's organ schools. Among his extremely popular pieces are 'Canon in D', 'Chaconne in F Minor; and 'Hexachordum Apollinis' for the keyboard.
