Biography

Born and raised in the birthplace of hip hop, The Bronx, Phase One has shared the stage with some of the most prominent names in the alternative hip hop scene. Few independent MCs carry themselves with the poise and verve that Phase One exhibits, a characteristic that made him something of a cornerstone in the New York City hip hop scene. Phase aims not to use profanity in his music, to show the youth in the programs he works with that you can find other aspects of language to connect and express yourself.
