JJ Sterry is a London-born singer-songwriter, fusing "insightful word-play and an experimental folk style" (Earmilk). JJ records on a converted lightship on the River Thames with George Ackerley, producer for Greentea Peng, Kid Cruise & Borough Council. He toured extensively as lead singer of British post punk icons Gang Of Four in the last few years, singing on all their most recent releases. JJ's solo work is Influenced by a range of artists, among them prominent figures from the late '60s English folk revival.
