Biography

Jean Sibelius (1865-1957) is widely recognized as one of the most significant symphonists of the 20th century and is considered the greatest composer in Finnish history. He’s particularly renowned for his collection of seven symphonies. Sibelius was a key figure in the development of Finnish classical music, combining folk and nordic mythology in his creative work.
