Issac Albeniz

Biography

Issac Albeniz (1860 - 1909) was a Spanish pianist, composer and conductor from the Post-Romantic era. Best known for the piano pieces he composed based on Spanish folk music, he's seen as one of the leading composers of his time, having a major influences on his contemporaries, as well as the future of Spanish music. Many of his pieces have also become a central part of the classical guitar repertoire.
