Amanati

Biography

Amanati is an artist and musician, hailing from the island of Crete in Greece. After starting to study music theory and classical piano from the age of 8, he developed a passion for electronic music and club culture in his teenage years, learning how to produce music and DJ. Using different stage names, Amanati released more than 50 house, progressive and techno singles and performed as a DJ across Europe until his early 30s. He then moved on to his current creative phase, producing what's best described as exotic electronic music, heavily influenced by his classical background and Greek folk. Amanati has become a figure of mystery in the eyes of the public, emphasizing in the idea that gender, race, ethnicity and appearance do not define us.
