Biography

Lou Yoelin, the mastermind behind Above Envy, is an award-winning songwriter and composer whose music can be found on numerous TV shows. He has an MA in Music Composition from UCLA and a BA in Music Composition from Columbia College Chicago, combining his formal training with his Chicago punk scene roots to write songs for major label artists. For Above Envy, Lou joined forces with Chicago's South Side singer/rapper Tier Drop to deliver Pop with a carefree, in-your-face attitude that oozes sensuality.
