What Is Meshy V7?

Meshy V7 is Meshy's flagship AI model for 3D generation. It accepts a single image or a text prompt and outputs a fully textured, remeshed 3D mesh in GLB format. Three quality presets control the result: Low (5K faces), Medium (30K faces with PBR materials), and High (100K faces with PBR and Ultra Geometry for finer surface detail).

    Describe a single object in a prompt. Meshy 7 builds a textured 3D model from the description — no reference image needed.

  • PBR Materials

    On Medium and High presets, every output includes metalness, roughness, and normal maps that respond to scene lighting in any 3D environment.

  • Ultra Geometry

    The High preset runs an additional geometry pass that captures finer surface detail — panel lines, engravings, and small-scale shapes stay in the mesh.

Meshy V7 outputs triangle-based meshes in GLB format. Every model is remeshed to match the selected quality preset’s face count, so the file size is consistent regardless of the prompt.

Low generates a 5K-face mesh with standard geometry and no PBR — useful for quick blockouts. Medium outputs 30K faces with PBR materials. High goes up to 100K faces, adds PBR, and runs an Ultra Geometry pass for finer surface detail.

Meshy V7 outputs static meshes. Characters keep the pose from the input image, and the triangle-only topology isn’t set up for rigging or animation out of the box. For rigged characters, pair the output with a dedicated rigging tool.

Meshy V7 sits between Artlist’s other 3D options in polygon range: 5K–100K faces, compared to up to 50K for Tripo H3.1 and up to 1.2M for Hunyuan 3D v3.1 Pro. Its strength is predictable, remeshed output with PBR at Medium and High quality levels.
