Silence+Other Sounds is a boutique sound library company founded and run by Italian sound designer Giuseppe Caiazzo. Currently one of the most well-respected sound design brands, Silence+Other Sounds focuses on creating unique sounds and virtual instruments for film composers and producers based on a creative approach to recording, experimental sound manipulation and uncompromising sound quality.
After having spent almost a decade as an academic researcher, Giuseppe launched Silence+Other Sounds by blending his artistic idea of sound design and knowledge of signal processing by releasing a series of cinematic libraries which have gained strong momentum in the community of composers for images (Stringache, Pain Piano, Maleventum and others). Their work has been used by international composers, countless Hollywood trailers and much more.
