Long time ago In the fall
She grew so old at the age of four
Her polka dot, the yellow leaves
That landed from the high up trees
She didn’t know what’s there to come
Just waited for her present
They walked in silence, holding hands
Her dad and her until they came to
Grey grey walls walls
Close close close on her
Is she still safe?
“Where are we and why we’re here?”
At the age of four
Those questions aren’t clear
And there she was, her beauty shines
Her eyes are sparkles in the dark skies
She came so close, and kneeld so low
Gave the crutches to her man so slow
“My beauty queen, my little pumpkin
So glad you’re here. Lets go”
She kisses her gently, then rose up
And then her daughter’s hands freed up
At the age of four she walks alone
She doesn’t need help like her mommy
Who would have thought when she grows old
The memory won’t vanish
Grey grey walls walls
Close close close on her
Is she still safe?
“Where are we and why we’re here?”
At the age of four
Those questions aren’t clear
Grey grey walls walls
Close close close on her
Is she still safe?
“Where are we and why we’re here?”
At the age of four
Those questions aren’t clear
