Biography

Ron Levy-Arie, aka Ranking Levy, is a Rub-A-Dub MC based in Tel Aviv. He formed the Reggae sound system My Lord Sound in 2003, together with his partner Ellen G. In the spirit of Jamaican sound systems of the '70s and '80s, the duo aims to bring the "old time spirit" to the current generation. He is also a founding member of the band Trilion whose songs are played worldwide. As an MC, Ron has recorded for many well-known international Dub and Reggae labels. On top of his own music practice, Ron is a music journalist specializing in Caribbean music and culture, as well as an art director for My Lord Graphics along with Ellen G, who is responsible for creating some of the finest artworks for record covers and event posters across the globe.
