Biography

Matooma is the ambient collaboration between Dean Palya and Wiriyapa Chansuwong, based in Los Angeles and Bangkok. With calming drones and relaxing soundscapes, Matooma draws inspiration from many different musical cultures. The combination of Wiriyapa's compositional prowess, calming melodies and soothing harmonic choices is amplified by Dean's expert ear for sound design.

Having garnered millions of streams on platforms such as Spotify, Matooma continues to push the boundaries of sound design, creating unique sounds designed from scratch from a variety of obscure sources.
