I've traveled this big world
Lonesome I have roamed
I've laid down in green pastures
I’ve rolled down rocky roads
And as my hair turned silver
I lost my lust for gold
Now cups of wine can't satisfy the thirst within my soul
Narrow is the road
The road to glory
Perdition's gates are broad and wide
On the steps you take do ponder
From the path do not far wander
For the narrow road to glory is worth the price
I've broke bread with the wicked
I've made my plans with fools
To the gates of destruction
I've led many others to
And though my sins were many
I reached out for His robe
And through His tender mercies now my cup overflows
Narrow is the road
The road to glory
Perdition's gates are broad and wide
On the steps you take do ponder
From the path do not far wander
For the narrow road to glory is worth the price
From the lonely orphan children
To the great kings of men
All are bound to perish death is the wage of sin
So turn away from gossip
Deceitfulness and woe
Let the carpenter from Galilee take up your heavy load
Narrow is the road
The road to glory
Perdition's gates are broad and wide
On the steps you take do ponder
From the path do not far wander
For the narrow road to glory is worth the price
For the narrow road to glory is worth the price

Just another honky tonk another lonely night
One more wrong trying to make it right
Another sawdust floor dancers in the disco light
Another hopeful sunset and heart broken sunrise
What am I looking for night after night
What do I wanna see in every new lovers eyes
A little taste of peace in the cheap wine
A little tenderness hiding in the neon light
At another honky tonk another lonely night
One more wrong trying to make it right
Another sawdust floor dancers in the disco light
Another hopeful sunset and heart broken sunrise
I threw my love away with the rest of my life
All the promises made I just couldn't stay dry
Another round for the ones who try to stick around
Chase it with the memory of them walking out
Of another honky tonk another lonely night
One more wrong trying to make it right
Another sawdust floor dancers in the disco light
Another hopeful sunset and heart broken sunrise
Last call and the juke box’s last song
Time to go home or at least move on
Maybe I'll sleep maybe i’ll dream
Maybe I'll just walk the street till I find my next drink
At another honky tonk another lonely night
One more wrong trying to make it right
Another sawdust floor dancers in the disco light
Another hopeful sunset and heart broken sunrise
One more wrong trying to make it right

Oh mercy me oh mercy my
I'm down on my knees I got my arms stretched to the sky
Trouble to the left of me
Sorrow to the right
Can hear me lord and can you lead me to the light
I lift my voice I call your name
As I toil down in this valley of strife and pain
I've bent over backwards paid it all forwards don't have a dime to my name
And my debt to you could never be repaid
When the heatwave starts to break
And the ice and snow melts away
When the tears we've cried have all run dry and we find the rainbows end
We'll be walking in the sunshine with him
Don't turn away lord hear my cries
And I need you to make up my bed when I die
Forgive me for the trespass can’t you see I’m running out of time
To make it well with my soul by and by
When the heatwave starts to break
And the ice and snow melts away
When the tears we've cried have all run dry and we find the rainbows end
We'll be walking in the sunshine with him
When the heatwave starts to break
And the ice and snow melts away
When the tears we've cried have all run dry and we find the rainbows end

Lead me through the deep valleys
Through the coldest of nights
Make the way clear and straight to the dawn's early light
Lead me to the still waters
Flowing by fields of peace
Where the shadows hold no dangers
And my fears and my troubles cease
It's a narrow road
But I'm bound to go
I want to see your face once more
It's a long way home but I've got to go
I want to see your face my Lord
Let my heart sing in the morning
Of your faithfulness and love
To sing your praise all my days
And all my soul is not time enough
It's a narrow road
But I’m bound to go
I want to see your face once more
It's a long way home but I've got to go
I want to see your face my Lord
Through the coldest of nights
Make the way clear and straight to the dawn's early light
Lead me to the still waters
Flowing by fields of peace
Where the shadows hold no dangers
And my fears and my troubles cease
