Biography

Larry Whinnery was in the first home-grown Rock 'n' Roll bands in Cleveland, Ohio in 1956. Recording and performing under the name The Four Plaids the band helped establish the genre in the very early days of modern popular music. Ultimately, he chose to pass on a major label offer and raise a family. His recordings, however, remain a foundational piece of Rock 'n' Roll history.
