Biography

Art Against Agony is an instrumental progressive jazz/metal band, founded in 2012 in Stuttgart, Germany. Their music can be described as a journey from a metal concert to an absinthe Jazz bar and categorized as ‘prog-jazz-experimental-psychedelic-metal’.

AAA is not just a regular band, but an art project. Besides their experimental musical endeavors, the project also focuses on photographic, video and performance art, leading them to take part in experimental art exhibitions.
