Hailing from the windy plains of North Texas, Nicholas Hearne (Nick Taylor) has been raised in family of musicians his whole life. After attempting to pursue acting in college, Nick realized that his true calling was filmmaking. Playing in bands throughout high school and college, Nick had surrounded himself with musicians who were better than he was in hopes that their skills and training would rub off on him. After taking a few film classes in college, Nick then realized how important music underscoring and composition is in filmmaking. Collaborating with producers and engineers in Fort Worth, TX, Nick began to create folk and cinematic underscoring for his friend's films and soon gained popularity in LA as more and more people told their friends to hire him. Nick has underscored many short films, trying to make his way into the feature film ranks. Today he plays indie rock in the Dallas area with his buddies and makes film compositions at home. He likes to experiment with all kinds of instrumentation, testing the limits to which his sound can go.
