Nobou is the artist pseudonym of composer and music producer Bjørn O. Undset. Born and raised in rural Norway, now based in the suburbs of Oslo, where he often finds inspiration for his mellow and reflective ambient music
At the age of 12 he started his musical journey with piano and electric guitars, and soon became member of various rock bands and started crafting his skills, both as songwriter and performer. Later on he went to study sound design, which has been his main work for several years.
The desire to write more cinematic and ambient/electronic style has developed over the years, and has shifted to be his main focus in recent years. Composing music for an award-winning documentary broadcasted on national TV, as well as making sound design and music for radio dramas and theatre plays has been very motivating in that matter. He also has provided the national broadcaster NRK with music for their podcast productions.
Nobou works hard to produce high quality music, for use in film/TV/media and is always looking for new opportunities and placements for his compositions.
