Jay Ray is an independent multi-instrumentalist, solo artist and producer from Finland. He started to work as an independent solo artist in the beginning of 2012. Before that he was working in different bands.
His music style is mostly known by electronic/orchestral rock and metal that combines elements from various genres of music.

Jay Ray have won international remix competitions. The most significant being the Serj Tankian competition where Serj Tankian himself picked out the winner out of hundreds of participants. His most distinguished trait is that he uses own vocals in all of his remixes. This has been an asset in raising his credibility.

In the mid 2017 he took the opportunity to collaborate with the Poets of the Fall, as their vocalist Marko Saaresto laid vocals on his "Striven" single. His debut album Self-Resonance was released in 2017.
