Hi!
 
My name is Sander. Ever since I discovered Artlist I admired the beautiful looking interface and the fact that you put quality over quantity. I quickly decided that I wanted to get my music on there. 
 
I am a composer of instrumental indie, left of the middle. Songs that I write will always have one or more acoustic/folk elements in order to have that organic feel to it. The recording doesn’t have to be perfect, authenticity is what I am looking for.

For example, I love close-micing instruments while playing very softly to give the music a real intimate character. This way I aim to connect with the listener on an emotional level.
 
Even though my music is slightly left of the middle, doesn’t mean that it’s not accessible. My belief is that if I am able to emotionally connect to what I make, more people will do so as well.
 
I work from my studio in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
