My name is Tim Coons. There is also a famous Tim Coons from L.A. who produced Backstreet Boys and other monumental 90's pop. That is not me. 

I'm from Colorado and have been making what I'd simply call Indie-Folk for a few years now. If I'm more elaborate in what I'd call my music, I'd go with Indie-midwest-toy chest-folk... close-mic'd, lush minimalism... raw-singer-songwriting dressed in eclectic arrangements. 

The last 3 albums I've done were art & music projects with my wife, Betony. We'd pick an over-arching theme and she'd do an art-series in companion with the songs I'd be writing. You can see that work at our website. 

My work has been represented on Music Bed and I'm always so honored when a film maker or wedding videographer or company uses what I've created to better set the mood and tell their story. I'd like to see that continue happening in more than just one arena. And I'm so thrilled there's a market for my work going further than just existing as an album!
