Frequently asked questions
Can I monetize my videos with Artlist’s license?
Yes! You can monetize your videos when subscribed to any of our plans.
What’s the difference between the Personal license, Pro license and Business license?
The Personal license allows you to clear and monetize one channel per social platform, covering personal channels only. In contrast, the Pro license covers up to three channels on any social platform (AI Voiceover plan excluded), and covers every type of video worldwide – including those for commercial use, client work, and other types of projects. A Business license is for agencies, broadcasters, and companies with 50+ employees, and can extend coverage and usage rights to your entire business. It covers a wider variety of projects and provides for unlimited distribution, and you can customize your license to suit your business needs.
How long is my license valid for?
Any projects you create and publish while your subscription is active are covered forever. You can learn more about Artlist licenseshere.
Does the license cover commercial projects?
Yes, if you’re subscribed to one of the following plans: Music & SFX Pro, AI Voiceover, Footage & Templates, Artlist Max, or Business.
What if my business or client requires a custom license?
No problem! We can customize a plan that suits your unique business needs. For more information, talk to a Business expert.
How do I know which plan is right for me?
If you’re using Artlist as an individual or as part of an organization with less than 50 employees globally, a Standard plan or a Teams plan is the right one for you. If you work for a company with 50+ employees, you’re an agency or broadcaster, or you have specific licensing requirements, you’ll need a Business plan.
What’s the difference between a Teams plan and a Business plan?
With “Artlist Max Teams” and “Music & SFX Teams”, you have a Pro license and can get anywhere from 2 to 7 seats for your team. These plans are only available if you belong to a company with less than 50 employees globally.
With a Business plan, you have a Business license and can add as many team members as you want. It’s relevant if you work for a company with 50+ employees, are an agency or broadcaster, or have special licensing needs. It also provides access to music stems, exclusive pre-release content, and more.Talk to a Business expertand they’ll create a tailor-made plan for your needs.
