What creators need to know about AI video models

Not all AI video generator models are created alike! Some allow you to use negative prompting for more control, while others like to overdirect, adding their own directions you might not want, like camera angles or lighting

Motion

One huge difference between AI video models is how they generate motion and how realistic it is. With some models, the movement looks natural, almost like a real camera or a real person moving, while with other models, things can change, or defy the laws of physics (think morphing, or objects going through other objects), especially if the video is longer. 

This is important, especially if you’re looking to generate fast motion, as most models tend to generate unstable motion or morphing. 

Consistency

Consistency proves another huge difference between video models. As soon as you generate more than one video, you’ll notice whether the model keeps details the same. If a character changes, or the lighting does, or the scene looks different each time, your chosen model might be focused on generating results quickly, not on generating details perfectly and consistently each time.

Kling 3.0 and Seedance 2.0 generate very differently and work in very different ways. 

In the below video comparison, the same prompt generates a very different set of results. Kling’s version is cinematic, and sticks to the prompt. Seedance’s version takes a more interpretative approach, with a bit more creative flair applied to the car, buildings, and people moving around the scene. 

Prompt: A hyperrealistic vintage car driving through a city where everything is made of paper, buildings folding slightly in the wind, pedestrians made of origami crossing the street, cinematic tracking shot that keeps the car centered, soft pastel tones, shadows and perspective staying consistent as the camera moves.

Kling 3.0 will give you much more predictable results, and you can give it a much more detailed prompt. It likes to be given direction, and will generate details consistently, cinematically, and more often than not, according to what you asked it. 

Seedance 2.0 is less predictable in that sense, but it’s much better at handling complex motion, action, and dynamic scenes. Your results won’t be as controlled as they are with Kling, but any highly complex action scenes will be much more realistic.

Here’s a quick look at how each model interprets the same prompt, comparing how closely it follows direction, as well as how realistic the motion feels. 

Prompt: A lone astronaut walking through a flooded shopping mall, reflections on the water, flickering signs, slow cinematic dolly shot, dramatic lighting.

Kling 3.0

Seedance 2.0

Kling’s version of the astronaut in the flooded mall is smooth enough, cinematic, and interesting to watch. But Seedance’s video is much smoother, as well as more detailed.

Kling 3.0 is the AI video model you use when you want more prompt control. Of all the Kling models available, it’s the best so far at handling a lot of direction, including camera angles, lighting, even text you want to include. Kling 3.0 follows your prompt closely, which is great for when you want to create something that doesn’t need a lot of editing before production. 

In comparison, Seedance 2.0 is a bit less controlled than Kling 3.0. You can see this when the model generates a video that isn’t as faithful to your prompt as Kling 3.0, with some of the details either disappearing or only partially generated. It’s a bit less predictable with more structured prompts, but even better than Kling 3.0 when you need a more complex scene. If you need a very specific structure, Seedance 2.0 might get overwhelmed quickly.

Motion 

These visuals show how each model handles complex motion, including fast action, to background movement, and how stable these elements stay across the whole scene.

Kling 3.0

Seedance 2.0

Seedance generates motion much more smoothly, as seen in the video above. From the wind blowing the monks’ coats, to the twirling kicks and punches, the motion is very fluid and lifelike. Kling’s video is impressive and mostly realistic too, although something about the way the monks’ arms move to punch and block seems a little less fluid. 

Kling 3.0 does generate smooth motion, and is particularly good at showing a a better sense of weight, timing, and direction. The video moves much more like a real camera would actually move, and it’s a solid model pick for creating both standalone scenes and something more cinematic and longer. This works best with controlled, cinematic shots where the movement is usually slower, and easier to direct. 

Having said that, Seedance 2.0 really outdoes itself when it comes to more complex videos, motion, realism and energy. Overall, it generates much more realistic physics, weight and camera movement than Kling 3.0, as you can see in the two videos below, using the same prompt across both models. 

This in itself is a huge step forward in how AI video handles motion and action. 

What Seedance 2.0 changes for creators

Seedance 2.0 makes it much easier to see how a scene might actually play out before you shoot it. Instead of guessing how an action sequence or camera move will feel, you can generate something that already shows the timing, movement, and energy. 

Sequence generation and continuity

One of the biggest differences with Seedance 2.0 is that it doesn’t just generate single clips, it can build full sequences. You can give it multiple reference images and to create a connected sequence. Doing so also improves Seedance’s consistency, helping the characters, lighting, and locations to stay more stable.

Still, this doesn’t automatically mean perfection, as some cuts still feel off, and transitions don’t always land cleanly. But being able to generate a full sequence from one prompt is a huge step forward.

Acting, lip sync, and audio realism

Seedance 2.0 seems stronger than Kling 3.0 when it comes to performance. Dialogue scenes feel more natural, with pauses, reactions, and timing that actually carry emotion. Facial expressions match what’s being said more closely, and the pacing feels more like real edited scenes, where the silence and timing actually matter.

Audio plays a big role here too. Sound effects, voices, and background sound feel like they belong in the scene, although Kling 3.0 also adds audio in a way that makes sense and seems natural.  

Text, typography, and motion graphics

Text is usually where AI video struggles, but Seedance 2.0 handles it better than most.

It can generate animated text, logos, and simple motion graphics that look pretty realistic. That’s not to say it always does so perfectly. If the motion gets too complex, Seedance’s text will start to distort, but compared to other models, this is a clear improvement.
