The Artlist $250K Seedance 2.5 Challenge is now closed. We received hundreds of entries — 30-second videos made with Seedance 2.5, posted publicly across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. The brief was simple: make something that stops people scrolling. Something with a point of view. Something that lands in the first two seconds and doesn't let go.

The videos that stood out

Liza
Comic, moving, and technically flawless. Eitan Cohen and Moran Moradi delivered the kind of editing, visuals, and sound design that work together in service of a story that feels genuinely original. And we thought the result was nothing short of jaw-dropping.

The Last Note

The concept alone earns its place as winner. A premise so funny and specific that every scene that builds on it lands harder than the last. Ben Keil shows visually powerful work from the first piano drop to the final frame.

Meteor
Auriona.studio's dark, tragic setting with naive, heartwarming subjects is a raw, tactile video that ties it all together. The contrast shouldn't work, and yet it completely does.

Rosa
A heartwarming story that shines a light on real social issues. Mush Dubezki depicts an AI world grounded enough that the topics land with genuine weight.

Pirate
A compelling, distinctive story told with visuals that feel made for it. Aviv Nachshon has made an eye-catching story from the first frame and is confident throughout.

Roosters
A rare thing in AI filmmaking: a film where the look, the location, and the characters all feel like they genuinely belong together. The realism it creates is quietly impressive from Nimrod Stiebel.

BMW M3
Fast-paced and tense, with comic moments woven through at exactly the right intervals. Jonathan Degueldre has made a film that earns its energy and makes it look effortless.

Taxidermy
A genuinely fresh take on the documentary genre from Netanel Hag. Sharp script, interesting characters, and a creative approach that never feels like a gimmick.

Crazy Plants
This is a precise, funny, and thoroughly entertaining short from Merav Lev. The documentary style and character work do exactly what they need to.

Signs
A story that traditional filmmaking couldn't tell. AAIRONSTUDIO brings AI-native filmmaking at its most purposeful — creative, engaging, and proof of what the medium can do.

Ed
A brilliant concept executed with real confidence by Noadarr. Comic and dramatic in equal measure, and refreshing to watch in a way that's hard to pin down until you've seen it.

Used Character
A distinctive aesthetic from Flotantte that earns its grim atmosphere completely. You genuinely don't know what's coming next — and that's exactly the point.

The Artlist $250K Seedance 2.5 challenge was your opportunity to make the most creative 30-second video using Seedance 2.5. Post it to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or LinkedIn, and win a share of the $250,000 prize pool.

What this challenge was really asking was whether you can make something that stops people from scrolling. Something that lands in the first two seconds and doesn't let go. In a feed full of AI video, that's a harder brief than it sounds, and ultimately a more worthwhile one.

Winners were judged primarily on two things: creativity and engagement. Engagement covers likes, comments, shares, and saves, and usually these are the videos that get people to stop, watch, and react because they are creative.

How to enter - the challenge is closed

The challenge had a few requirements for entry:

1. Generate your 30-second (minimum) video using Seedance 2.5 on Artlist

2. Download and add the challenge badge — it must be visible for the full duration of your video

3. Post publicly to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or LinkedIn with #ArtlistSeedance25 and tag @Artlist by August 26th — and keep it public.

Your post must stay public so that it is searchable on your social channel until the foreseeable future.

The AI slop problem — and why it matters here

One thing we are not looking for is AI slop. But defining what that is is tricky, and the team at Artlist agrees it’s AI content that is usually generated at speed and posted without a second thought.
