Akinyemi is a Queens Village-native Hip Hop artist whose name comes from the Nigerian Yoruba language, meaning 'Warrior's Fate'. Being a first-generation American, Akinyemi explores his internal struggles to maintain the culture and values of his heritage while also immersing himself in the NYC ethos using vulnerable and introspective lyrics.
