Looking for turkey tail
On the mushroom stump
Got my knife and sack
Gonna harvest a bunch
Mushroom on the stump
Mushroom on the stump
Mushroom on the stump
Mushroom on the stump
I see that reishi mushroom
Sticking off the hemlock tree
Gonna go get my ladder
And bring it to my baby
Mushroom on the stump
Mushroom on the stump
Mushroom on the stump
Mushroom on the stump
Got me a mushroom sniffin’ dog
He don’t like to work, he’s lazy as a log
Also got a sidekick who
Works real hard but he’s three foot two
Mushroom on the stump
Mushroom on the stump
Mushroom on the stump
Mushroom on the stump
Lion’s mane, lion’s mane, lion’s mane
Driving me insane
I know you’re here but don’t know where
Gotta get my woman looking everywhere
Mushroom on the stump
Mushroom on the stump
Mushroom on the stump
Mushroom on the stump
On the mushroom stump
Got my knife and sack
Gonna harvest a bunch
Mushroom on the stump
Mushroom on the stump
Mushroom on the stump
Mushroom on the stump
I see that reishi mushroom
Sticking off the hemlock tree
Gonna go get my ladder
And bring it to my baby
Mushroom on the stump
Mushroom on the stump
Mushroom on the stump
Mushroom on the stump
Got me a mushroom sniffin’ dog

Mushroom on the stump
The sun comes in
It can’t help itself
It fills the dark
The young man worries
I can’t help myself
Show me a sign
I pen this song
Eager to break
Purpose found
The tired man sleeps
Works all day
He knows himself
The mother, she gives
Her loving words
She shares herself
I pen this song
Eager to break
Purpose found
The old man knows
his time is over
He gives one last smile
It can’t help itself
It fills the dark
The young man worries
I can’t help myself
Show me a sign
I pen this song
Eager to break
Purpose found
The tired man sleeps
Works all day
He knows himself
The mother, she gives
Her loving words
She shares herself
I pen this song
Eager to break
Purpose found
The old man knows
his time is over
He gives one last smile
The only chance we have is together
Our eyes are open wide
Focused on the heat of the battle
We sing
We dance
We fight
And we love
The small things that we do
Sharing a work or two
Telling a story to a new friend
Open minds and open hearts
The news turned off
Let’s walk out the door
We sing
We dance
We fight
And we love
The people on the screens
Their job is to make us feel mean
Trusting them is the last thing we should do
Sometimes we feel hopeless
And there’s nothing to say
There’s nothing wrong with silence and play
We sing
We dance
We fight
And we love
Our eyes are open wide
Focused on the heat of the battle
We sing
We dance
We fight
And we love
The small things that we do
Sharing a work or two
Telling a story to a new friend
Open minds and open hearts
The news turned off
Let’s walk out the door
We sing
We dance
We fight
And we love
The people on the screens
Their job is to make us feel mean
Trusting them is the last thing we should do
Sometimes we feel hopeless
And there’s nothing to say
There’s nothing wrong with silence and play
We sing
We dance
We fight
And we love
