Emil Waldhauer Præstegaard is a Danish composer, producer and sound designer.

He started experimenting with writing and producing music when he was 15 years old. Soon after, he realised music and sound was his true passion in life. For almost a decade he has been releasing club music under the moniker 'Notize' at which he gained worldwide success, however he wanted an output where he could release experimental and cinematic compositions. The 'Waldhauer' alias was brought to life for the purpose.
According to analytics site, Pex.com, his productions has been streamed  100 million times across all digital streaming platforms.
Besides being self taught for most of his career, he finished a bachelors degree in Electronic Sound & Music from The Royal Academy of Music, Denmark, 2020.
He is currently studying a masters degree in Electronic Composition at the same academy.

Inspired by the UK underground rave scene of the '90s, 'Reactance' is a powerful breakbeat EP contrasting edgy electronic drums and chopped backing vocals with dark strings and synths.
