I'm Sebastian Olivares De Simone. I'm a classically trained composer and producer. I grew up in the South of Chile close to a secret beach, and my namesake, called Pangal. 

The past couple of years I've been working on creating music for different kinds of media with Agencies and Music Libraries such as Tonosfera in Latin America, Bed Tracks in Canada, Music Publishers as Addictive Tracks in the UK, MIBE Music in New York, Trailer Publishers as Trailer Rebel in Germany and Phantom Power in California.

I have a special relationship with orchestral music. After my composition degree in Chile, I studied Orchestral Conducting at UCSB in California for a year. I've always been experimenting with video game sounds, film scoring, and trailer-esque, epic music.

Last year, I had the chance to explore some countries in Europe, and I became interested in synthesizers and electronic music, especially techno and house. This allowed me to expand my musical, technical, and artistic knowledge to some other styles with a different approach than my usual way-- sheet music and a pencil.

I'm also working on releasing my next Techno EP within the next month. In this EP, I explore sound design through the technological, sensorial and textural parts of the music as a contrast to my usual work in orchestral composition.

I strive to achieve excellence in any artistic challenge that could be part of my work and to keep creating music for personal and aesthetic reasons. I want to paint and highlight the images, emotions, and messages of any media products or projects.

Using local instruments and Folky melodies and rhythms, 'Al Final De La Tierra' combines traditional music genres from South American Andean countries with the Cinematic sound.
